The Pagoda Cup, or Turbinaria coral, are large polyp stony (LPS) coral. They are easy to keep and are a good beginner coral.
They don't require any special feeding, but do benefit from occasional feed of small particles of oysters, rotifers or mysis shrimp.
Pagoda Cups like moderate lighting of 150 - 250 par. Water flow should be moderate. Pagoda Cups are peaceful coral, but it's still a good idea to give them a bit of room.
Water Chemistry: PH 8.0 – 8.4m Nitrates 5 – 10, Phosphates 0.05m – 0.1, Alkalinity 8 - 9 dKh, and Calcium 400 – 450.
