Quality Marine, one of the most trusted names in the freshwater and saltwater hobby, has introduced the Vecton Titan UV Sterilizer. It is a photocatalytically enhanced UV sterilizer. The reaction provided by this new product offers a safer alternative to ozone to create clear water.
The Vecton Titan technology is 1.3 times more effective that regular UV sterilizers and is, therefore, more energy efficient. The photocatalytic lining products and improves the lifespan of the high UV resistant plastic body.
The Vecton Titan has opposing inlet and outlet and comes with four stage hose tails to attach to flexible hoses from 1/2 inch to 1 1/4 inch for easy installation and connection to the water supply which is held in place with screw on collars for easy removal for cleaning and maintenance. It includes a UV shield to prevent direct viewing of the UV lamp and the body is made with impact resistant, translucent polycarbonate.
The Vecton Titan UV sterilization process targets only the microorganisms floating in the water avoiding harm to the good bacteria that drives your bio-filtration system. Use disrupts algae growth and kills bacteria and other pathogens that threaten your tank and its carefully cared for inhabitants.
